It may also be processed by staff operating outside the United States who work for us or one of our Partners or Merchants, or one of our third-party suppliers, or third-party service providers who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Analytics, Advertising and Ad Measurement
We advertise on Google. So that we can tell which of our ads actually lead to a booking, and so that we do not keep paying for advertising that does not work, we use Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement tags on this site.
This means the following:
We share information with third parties who perform ad measurement services on our behalf. Specifically, we share conversion and measurement data with Google. Google acts as our service provider for this purpose.
When you arrive from an ad, our site records the advertising click identifier in your browser session (for example the parameters Google and Microsoft add to the link, such as gclid, gbraid, wbraid and msclkid) together with the page you landed on. This lets us connect a booking or enquiry back to the ad that produced it.
When you submit a form, book a session or book a free consult, the email address and phone number you entered are converted into an irreversible cryptographic hash in your own browser before they are sent to Google. This feature is called Enhanced Conversions. Google receives the hashed values, not the plain email address or phone number, and uses them only to confirm that a booking corresponds to an ad click.
We also record the same events in Google Analytics so that the two systems can be checked against each other.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers so that they can market their own products to you. The sharing described here exists to measure our own advertising.
What we do not share. We do not share special category or sensitive information for advertising measurement, and we do not knowingly collect or share information about children under 13.
Your choices. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and you can manage the ads you see at myadcenter.google.com. Blocking cookies in your browser, or using a browser that blocks tracking scripts, also prevents this measurement. None of this affects your ability to book with us, and it does not change the price you pay. If you would like us to delete measurement data associated with you, email studio@headshotdc.com and we will do so.
More information about how Google handles data for its advertising and measurement products is available at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
