Moshe fell in love with photography shooting weddings in Israel. When he moved to the U.S., word spread fast — his work was different, and people noticed. Over the past 20+ years, he's built a reputation across weddings, events, portraits, fashion, and headshots, earning coverage from both local and national media along the way.
What sets Moshe apart is his command of light. It’s not something he just understands technically — it’s the thing that drives how he sees every shot. That obsession led Profoto to name him a "Legend of Light," one of fewer than 30 photographers recognized worldwide by the global leader in professional studio lighting.
He's also deeply invested in the photography community. Moshe speaks regularly at WPPI, PDN PhotoPlus, and ShutterFest, and has taught thousands of photographers — not just the technical side, but the business of building a sustainable career.
At HeadshotDC, he works with some of DC's most prominent companies, top law firms, and Fortune 500 clients. The through line in all of it is simple: he cares about the final product and he cares that you leave happy.
Outside the studio, Moshe is a family man through and through. When he's not behind the camera, you'll find him hiking, camping, or off-roading — a self-described tech enthusiast who, at the end of the day, is probably unwinding with a vinyl record.
